Perfectprep® Gel Cleanup

The Perfectprep Gel Cleanup kit is a simple and rapid method for removing agarose, ethidium bromide, salts, enzymes and other impurities from DNA samples. The fragment of interest is cut out of the gel, then the gel slice is melted in a binding buffer and bound to a membrane via a simple centrifugation step. Following a short wash step, the purified DNA can be eluted using just 30µl of water or buffer.

  Perfectprep® PCR Cleanup 96

The Perfectprep PCR Cleanup 96 kit is based on proven ultrafiltration technology: PCR products are retained on top of the filter, and smaller components that may interfere with downstream applications—primers, unincorporated nucleotides and buffer components—pass through it. By adding water or a low-salt buffer and carrying out a short incubation, the purified PCR fragments can be recovered and used directly for further downstream applications, such as sequencing or microarray spotting. The kit can be used either manually or automated on standard liquid handling instruments.
