96-Well Round Microplates

These robust plates were specifically developed to cater for sample storage applications in the fields of cell biology, molecular biology and drug discovery (compound storage screening).

Porvair offers 3 microplate formats (14.7mm high) that have a maximum well capacity of 350µl. 

These robust plates are available as flat, 'V' bottom, or round bottom wells.

 Deep Well 96 Round Microplates (1ml)

The deep well microplates (45mm height) are ideal for high throughput applications and storage of samples.  They are compatible with sample processing workstations, microplate processing equipment and many microplate centrifuge rotors.

The plates are manufactured from either Polystyrene or Polypropylene to give a choice of material to suit end-user application.  Polypropylene plates are suitable for applications where features such as extreme temperature and chemical resistance are required while polystyrene plates are ideal for cell adhesion applications.  The plates conform to SBS standards and  the 1ml polypropylene plates are DNase/RNase free.

• Working volume of 1ml/ well

• Rimmed version prevents cross contamination

• Non-rimmed version to allow vial insertion and when sealing is not required

• Cylindrical well with round bottom for optimal mixing and sample retrieval

• Polypropylene tested for low leachates
